The evangelization group of the North American Mission Board exists to assist churches, in strategic partnership with state conventions and associations, in sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ in contextually relevant strategies with every individual in North America in order that everyone has the opportunity to hear, understand and respond to Gods plan for their salvation.
The constantly emerging North American mosaic requires numerous strategies and resources all communicating the same, biblical gospel to a diverse culture.
The strategies you find here are designed to be church driven rather than denominationally driven and easily contextualized for application by any church.

Our goal is to assist Southern Baptist Churches to reach and baptize 1,000,000 people by the end of the year 2005.

We see a day when every person in North America will have been prayed for and will have heard the uncompromised gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that they were able to respond.

The purpose of our presence on the Internet has four parts:
Information:
To provide information concerning available strategies and resources to assist churches in developing an evangelistic kingdom growth strategy.
Communication:
To provide a source of communication for churches, associations, state conventions, evangelists, chaplains, missionaries, NAMB staff, seminary evangelism personnel and On Mission Christians to share information, seek advice and assistance and communicate strategies.
Evangelization:
To provide cutting-edge tools for Christians and churches to use in sharing the gospel over the Internet. To provide an evangelistic presence on the Internet that provides opportunity for response and follow-up by local Southern Baptist Churches.
Motivation:
To motivate Christians and leaders to share the gospel by sharing stories and reports concerning the activity of God across North America. |
