North American Mission Board Assignment:
As team leader for Servant & Ministry Evangelism, Richard is responsible for leading the team to assist churches to build relational bridges through ministry over which they intentionally share the gospel. Working with ACTS 1:8 Partners, the Team, prioritizes networking for evangelism, connecting the conversation of the Gospel with intentional acts of kindness, connecting new believers to the Body of Christ, and assimilation of new believers in a local church through engaging them in ministry in the community.
Richard is also oversees the work of New Orleans Baptist Ministries in New Orleans, LA. NOBM operates ministry centers which assist area churches in reaching New Orleans with the gospel. It also provides Southern Baptists with an opportunity to experience an emersion in ministry evangelism.
Richard also serves on the Region 5 Coordination Team as evangelism specialist
