Carlos serves as the Chief Financial Officer leading the North American Mission Board in financial strategies and services. He coordinates and oversees the organization’s financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, SBC agencies, shareholders, and the financial community.
He served as Controller with the Home Mission Board from 1992-97. Prior to that he was vice president of Business and Administration at the Hispanic Baptist Seminary in Texas.
Carlos was born in Havana, Cuba. He graduated with a BBA in Accounting from the University of Texas and passed the CPA Exam in 1983.
Carlos is married to Cynthia and they have two sons: Al and Andrew. They are members of FBC, Woodstock where he serves as a deacon and is involved in missions programs.
His hobbies are golf and light gardening. Ferrer’s work passion is that he enjoys the challenge of team building, working together, and cooperation. Favorite Scriptures: I Peter 5:7 and Romans 8:38-39.
