Jean is Community Evangelism Associate on the Servant and Ministry Evangleism Team. She has administrative responsibility for relating to all states, Canada, Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, and Guam. This includes handling CCM budget, personnel issues, and strategy in cooperation with state leadership. She has about 190 appointed missionaries, over 600 Mission Service Corps missionaries and about 50 semester missionaries assigned to her.
Jean serves as a resource person assisting churches in developing evangelistic ministries aimed at people who are unchurched. She can assist churches in assessing their communities to see what the needs are, where the gaps in service are and where the resources are that can assist them in carrying out the mission God is calling them to. She can also assist them in developing strategies that make their church relevant to their community.
Ministries that fall under Church and Community Ministries include: job skills, life skills, Clothing ministries, Hunger Ministries, Drug and Alcohol Abuse Ministries, Homelessness Ministries, Senior Adult Ministries, Criminal Justice Ministries, Disabilities Ministries, Blind Ministries, and Health Care Ministries. |
