Helping Southern Baptists to discover the Great Commission knowledge, character, and skill they need to join God in His missionary work among all peoples. This involves stimulating and nurturing church planting movements through equipping mission teams of laity to engage people groups and simultaneously mobilizing their own churches to do missionary activities. Through networking for evangelism, starting small groups, and training indigenous leaders among people groups in their own community to start churches that start churches, church members learn what it takes to take the gospel to all peoples as they accept the Acts 1:8 Challenge. In short, my role is to train Southern Baptists to multiply churches among people who are different from themselves, following Paul's model in training Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:2. This includes Bibles and storying, too. |
