Matthew serves the Church Finance Ministry as a Senior Consultant in the Southeast region of the United States. He is a native of Atlanta and he earned his BBA from Georgia State University with a specialization in Marketing. After serving several years in corporate sales management, he responded to the Lord's call into church consulting ministry in 1998. He served two national church stewardship organizations consulting with churches of all sizes. He has worked with ministries developing strategic plans for church stewardship while also counseling pastors of the value leadership development throughout the life cycles of church growth.
Matthew and his wife Deanna have 5 children and make their home in the Metro-Atlanta area. He has served in worship leadership at Faith Community Church for 9 years and has had the opportunity to travel with several contemporary Christian music ministries evangelizing the youth in cities across the nation.
Matthew understands the vast need within the Southern Baptist Church for continued equipping in the areas of finance, budgeting, and lending education. He is honored to serve with NAMB in a capacity that will help meet this need and experience the blessing as churches grow and flourish to maximize their ministry impact on each of their communities.
